It was an evening filled with the feeling of patriotism at Nrithya Vruksha School of Fine Arts, Kottivakkam. On Apr.15, around 30 students of the institution rendered popular compositions of many notable laureates like Bharathiyar for over an hour.
In the event titled ‘Saamarasyam’, a child dressed up as Bharathiyar passionately recited the initial lines of the songs, captivating the audience. The programme was conducted under the guidance of Gurus – T.Venkataraman and Yagnaprabha Venkataraman.
Retired Headmistress of Adyar Sastri Nagar Primary School, Meera Bai, was the chief guest at the event and said that such programmes will help nurture the feeling of patriotism among the young generation. For more information contact 99627 83005.
