Dr. N.Anandavalli, Director of CSIR-SERC, briefed about the organisation. This was followed by the quiz by A.K. Farvaze Ahmed, Principal Scientist at CSIR-SERC, and his team. Fifty-seven students from 19 engineering colleges from all across Tamilnadu actively participated.

Six teams qualified for the finals, which featured several rounds of civil engineering questions, including audio-visuals. The participating students were enthusiastic, energetic and sportive and made the event a grand success.

The prize-winning colleges were awarded with trophies, and the finalists with shields and prize money.
