Annual Day at K.S.N.School

K.S.N. Secondary School, Thiruvanmiyur, celebrated its Annual Day on Nov.10 at V.S.D Auditorium, Thiruvanmiyur. It was an occasion of celebration, felicitation, and festivity when students presented exhilarating performances and also received honours for their curricular and co-curricular achievements. 

Kalaimamani Anil Srinivasan – Founder of Rhapsody and Kruu Inc, presided over the function as the chief guest. Mr.Kumar – Chairman of Sanmar Group, Mita Venkatesh – Senior Principal, and other trustees of the Indian Education Trust were present to provide their unwavering support. S.Sasirekha – Principal of Sri Sankara Vidyashramam, and Vidya Lakshmi – Principal of Sri Sankara Senior Secondary School also graced the occasion.

The event included a range of performances like devotional music, classical dance, folk dance, western dance and drama. Dr.V.Sridhar – Principal of K.S.N. Secondary School presented the annual report with utmost pride and enthusiasm. The most memorable moments of the function were marked by the precious words of advice and appreciation by the chief guest in his address. The celebrations concluded on a happy note encouraging the students to establish further milestones in the journey of success.

Adyar Times was established in Chennai in the year 1993, founded by Mr.S.P.Ambrose, IAS (Retd.). The concept of a newspaper for the neighbourhood was a novel idea then. The English weekly (Sunday) now boasts a circulation of 42000 copies with an average of 16 pages per issue.
