Karuna International, a Chennai-based NGO has, for 35 years, worked nationwide to sow seeds of compassion in young minds through Karuna Clubs in schools. A grand inauguration of the annual activities of the Karuna Club was held at the Sri Sankara Senior Secondary School, Adyar, on July 16.
Prabodh Jain, Patron Member of Karuna International, was the chief guest and received the first copy of the Souvenir released on the occasion. The Souvenir was filled with articles and illustrations by the children to mark the 30th anniversary of the club activities.
Also present at the occasion were: Karuna Club teachers – O.M.Ganga and K.B.Karthikaa, Principal S.Vidyalakshmi and Vice Principals Lakshmi and Kavitha Anand. To know more about the institute check out www.karunainternational.org.
