St. Patrick’s Anglo-Indian Higher Secondary School, Gandhi Nagar, led by Principal Rev. Bro. Pasca, held its annual school marathon on June 29, as a special tribute to its 150 years of excellence. Themed ‘Legacy in Motion: Run to Radiate’, the event celebrated fitness, tradition, unity, and pride.
A cherished school tradition, the marathon saw enthusiastic participation from students in classes 6 to 12. K. Vengadesan, Office Superintendent of Income Tax, Chennai, and a proud alumnus from the 2008 batch, flagged off the event, adding a significant sense of continuity.
Staff and volunteers cheered along the familiar route. Trophies were awarded to winners in each category, and all participants received certificates. Rev. Bro. Pasca commended the students for embodying the sesquicentennial spirit, reminding them they were not just running a race but carrying forward the school’s enduring 150-year legacy.
