The Tamilnadu Brahmins Association, Adyar Unit, in coordination with Dharma Paripalana Sabha, celebrated Tamil New Year’s Day on Apr.14, at the Kanchi Mahaswami Anantha Mandapam in Adyar.

The event included the release of the ‘Vishwavasu’ Panchangam and a Panchangam reading by Dr. Raghu, Sanskrit professor at the Sanskrit College, Mylapore. Attendees received copies of the new Panchangam featuring Annapoorneswari Devi. Dr. Raghu was honoured for his presentation, and prasadams were distributed. The celebration was well-attended, with prayers for the success of Dr. Raghu’s predictions for the year.
