On Jan.5, the Devanai Pavanur Central Library, in collaboration with the Tamil Literary Central Library, Muran Kalari Publication, and Namma Oor Kavikkoodal, celebrated the Tamil Kavithai anniversary with great enthusiasm.
The event highlighted the rich cultural and literary heritage of Tamil poetry and honoured Kavimamani Dr. S. Srividhya, a Kottivakkam resident and a teacher of The Hindu Senior Secondary School, Adyar. The multi-talented teacher was recognised for achievements in singing, dancing, poetry, oratory, and rangoli (Kolam), and was presented a gold ring.
