Due to the CMRL work near Adyar Telephone Exchange, the following traffic diversions are proposed to be implemented on Sep.14 (one day) on a trial basis.

  • Vehicles coming from Dr.Muthulakshmi Road (L.B.Road) towards Thiruvanmiyur are restricted at Adyar Telephone exchange. With the new diversion vehicles will proceed into Sastri Nagar 1st Avenue → Sastri Nagar 1st Main Road → M.G.Road. This stretch will function as one way traffic.
  • Vehicles coming from Thiruvanmiyur Signal are restricted to take right turns at Mahatma Gandhi Road. They will need to head straight on L.B.Road.
  • No restriction for vehicles coming from Thiruvanmiyur towards Adyar Flyover, they will ply as usual.
