Manuelmony Matriculation School, a 50-year-old institution in Thiruvanmiyur, hosted a graduation ceremony for its UKG students transitioning to first standard on Mar.29.
The event aimed to boost the confidence and esteem of the young students as they move to a higher level of education. Principal Ancy Babitha welcomed the attendees and conducted the proceedings. Dr. Madhavan, Senior Corporate Trainer and Consultant, was the chief guest.
The 37 UKG students were individually presented on stage and received graduation certificates. The occasion also included displays of their talents in fine arts, such as music and dance.
In his speech, Dr. Madhavan advised parents on addressing health issues like milk teeth and vision problems during this growth stage. He also spoke about peer pressure and the importance of fostering children’s creativity. He emphasized that children should be proficient in driving and swimming as life-saving skills and encouraged physical fitness.
