Vana Vani Matriculation Higher Secondary School celebrated its 62nd Annual Day on Aug.7, themed ‘Swaram, Natyam, Abhinayam: The Triveni of Art’.
Chief guest Prof. Manu Santhanam lit the ceremonial lamp, Dean (IC & SR) at IIT Madras, lauded the school’s progressive approach to education and urged students to remain curious. He also emphasised the importance of sports for mental and physical well-being.
Principal-in-Charge Princy Tom presented the annual report, highlighting the school’s accomplishments. Chairman Prof. S. P. Dhanavel encouraged students to strive for excellence. The event also included a prize distribution ceremony to felicitate academic toppers and sports achievers.
The cultural program was a vibrant showcase of student talent, featuring a captivating invocation dance, mesmerising performances, and heart-warming plays. The performances included songs in both Tamil and French, reflecting the school’s diverse cultural richness, leaving guests with fond memories of an inspiring event.
