We Are Chennai Cycling Group (WCCG), one of the biggest organised cycling groups in Chennai, is conducting an annual fundraiser event- WCCG Aalam Deepam Chennai Duathlon 2024 on Mar.10. This 5th edition of the event starts and ends at Mayajal ECR. Aalam is the philanthropic wing of WCCG through which many societal welfare activities are being implemented.
WCCG Aalam Deepam has conducted the Annual Duathlon event “Run-Ride-Donate”, since 2019 to raise funds for various noble causes.

Deepam Olympic Individual: 10 Km running and 40 Km cycling- INR 649 (Includes 18% GST)
Deepam Sprint – Individual: 5 Km running and 20 Km cycling – INR 649 (Includes 18% GST)
Deepam Team Relay: Doubles (Olympic & Sprint): (Team Relay events will have two people in one team. One person runs while other person rides and completes the distance)
Deepam Team Relay Olympic:10 Km running and 40 Km cycling – INR 1199 (Includes 18% GST) DEEPAM TEAM RELAY SPRINT: 5 Km running and 20 Km cycling – INR 1199 (Includes 18% GST)
Virtual Participation Permitted where people can participate from ‘Anywhere in the World’. Run and Ride to be completed in 1 day- either 8th, 9th or 10th March 2024 (Run to be completed first and then Ride to be completed) Participants need Strava ID to track Run and Ride- Strava is a GPS based sports app used by a large number of athletes.
