The Tamil Nadu Animal Welfare Board (TNAWB) is appealing to the public and corporations for generous contributions to support the care and feeding of abandoned and community animals across the state.
In alignment with Article 51(A)(g) of the Indian Constitution, which mandates the protection of animal welfare, the Board undertakes various activities, including providing food, shelter, and medical care. With a growing number of stray animals leading to accidents and conflicts, the TNAWB acknowledges that it cannot address the scale of the problem alone.
To effectively alleviate animal suffering, the Board is now focusing on raising funds to procure and distribute food supplies through a network of animal welfare volunteers and organisations statewide.
