Brotherhood School hosts investiture ceremony for young leaders

Brotherhood Matric. Hr. Sec. School (Primary Wing), Neelankarai, held its Investiture Ceremony on July 11, officially inducting its new student council. The event began with a soulful choir performance, followed by an inspiring address from Dr. Hilda Jayachandran of Presidency College, who highlighted the importance of leadership through action and inspiration.

Principal Helen Johnson administered the oath, urging students to uphold the school’s motto, ‘Learn to Shine’. Founder Rev. Fr. Anton Cruz, Chairperson Jacintha Cruz, Correspondent Jayakumar, and Academic Coordinator Solomon Devadoss all congratulated the young leaders and encouraged them to lead with dedication and pride.

Adyar Times was established in Chennai in the year 1993, founded by Mr.S.P.Ambrose, IAS (Retd.). The concept of a newspaper for the neighbourhood was a novel idea then. The English weekly (Sunday) now boasts a circulation of 42000 copies with an average of 16 pages per issue.
