Adyar Ananda Bhavan, popularly known as A2B, donated essential medical equipment to Kanchi Kamakoti Child Trust Hospital on June 21. The equipment will be used in the Pediatric Intensive Care Unit and Emergency Room.
“This will greatly enhance our ability to provide timely and affordable care to children who are critically ill,” said Dr Bala Ramachandran, Head of the Department of Intensive Care & Emergency Medicine.
The medical equipment donated includes ultrasound machines, multiparameter monitors (4 nos.), syringe infusion pumps (3 nos.), volumetric infusion pumps (9 nos.) and defibrillator.
