PALS honours Adyar-based Meritus AI academy

Partners in Advancing Learning and Solutions (PALS), an initiative driven by IIT Alumni, hosted their valediction ceremony on June 21. The event celebrated significant achievements in STEM education and highlighted the contributions of key figures, including Meritus AI and its Founder-Chairman, Ramana Prasad.

Gandhi Nagar-based Meritus AI, was commended for its commitment to innovation and excellence in education, underscoring its dedication to nurturing future leaders in engineering and technology. Ramana Prasad, an alumnus of IIT Madras, also received a special award from PALS for his outstanding contributions to STEM education, presented by Prof. K. Murali, Dean of IIT Madras, and Suresh Raman, Vice President and Region Head of Tata Consultancy Services.

Adyar Times was established in Chennai in the year 1993, founded by Mr.S.P.Ambrose, IAS (Retd.). The concept of a newspaper for the neighbourhood was a novel idea then. The English weekly (Sunday) now boasts a circulation of 42000 copies with an average of 16 pages per issue.
