Night Surf event at Kovalam

Surf Turf is conducting ‘BIG AIR FLO 2024’, Asia’s first-ever night surf event, from Sep.18 to Sep.21. 33 Surfing athletes will be participating in the event.  

The event will feature various activities, from electrifying surf competitions to insightful workshops, and a chance to connect with other adventure enthusiasts. The entry fee is Rs.1500, including access to view night surfing, live music, and a seaside dinner.

Sep.18:  7.30 pm – 9.30 pm -Night Surf. Participants from locals only on Registration.

Sep.19: 7.30 am – 11.30 am – Workshop, Meet and Greet with Red Bull Athlete Conor Maguire. 5 pm – 6 pm – Briefing.   7 pm – 9 pm – Expression Night Surf Session for Competitors.

Sep.20: 7 am – 1 pm – Masters Flow & Wingers. Tag team. S.U.R.F Games. 7 pm – 9 pm – Winger’s Night Surf Session.

Sep.21: 7 am – 1 pm- Grom Attack, Women Power, Finless Soft Top Mayhem. 6 pm – Closing ceremony.

Adyar Times was established in Chennai in the year 1993, founded by Mr.S.P.Ambrose, IAS (Retd.). The concept of a newspaper for the neighbourhood was a novel idea then. The English weekly (Sunday) now boasts a circulation of 42000 copies with an average of 16 pages per issue.
