Patrician College hosts conference on digital innovations

The Departments of Commerce and Computing Sciences (Shift II), Patrician College of Arts and Science and Don Bosco Arts and Science College inaugurated the International Conference on Digital Innovations in Business and Service Sectors, on Sep.13. 

The event was inaugurated by Dr. Ezhilan – MLA of Thousand Lights and Rajesh Kannan – Vice President of Sophina APA, who delivered inspiring opening speeches. Around 200 students and professionals participated in the event presided over by Academic Director Dr. Fatima Vasanth, Principal Dr.Arokiamary Geetha Rufus and Vice Principal Dr. Ananda Priya.

The conference witnessed the release of the Abstract Book by the dignitaries, marking the culmination of the inaugural session. This book compiles the abstracts of research papers and presentations to be discussed during the conference.

Dr.Uthira, Principal, Hindustan College of Art and Science, Chennai was the chief guest for the Valedictory session. Dr. S. Jebaseeli Novaleena, Head, Department of Commerce, Don Bosco Arts and Science College delivered the vote of thanks expressing gratitude to all participants, dignitaries and organisers.

Adyar Times was established in Chennai in the year 1993, founded by Mr.S.P.Ambrose, IAS (Retd.). The concept of a newspaper for the neighbourhood was a novel idea then. The English weekly (Sunday) now boasts a circulation of 42000 copies with an average of 16 pages per issue.
