The Adyar Nair Seva Society (ANSS) celebrated its annual Onam event, ‘Onnichonam 2025’, on Sept.21 at the Youth Hostel, Indira Nagar. The celebration was a vibrant display of culture and community, bringing together members and distinguished guests to honour the festival.
N.Ajithkumar IRS, Deputy Commissioner of GST & Customs, was the chief guest. He was joined by V. K. T. Nair – Chairman of Madhavaram NSS, and the Society’s first President, Sashidharan. Patrons – C. Bhaskaran and D. Sivasankaran were also felicitated for their contributions.
Highlights of the event included the official release of Padmadeepam, the Society’s biannual publication. The audience was also treated to a classical dance performance by Prithvija Balagopalan and various cultural programs presented by ANSS family members. The festivities concluded with a traditional and sumptuous Onasadya, adding to the festive spirit of the occasion.
