Tamil Nadu Chief Minister M.K. Stalin, on Feb.26, distributed appointment orders to 2,642 newly selected medical officers through the Tamil Nadu Medical Services Recruitment Board at an event held in Thiruvanmiyur.

He also praised Tamil Nadu’s initiatives, such as the ‘Innuyir Kaappom – Nammai Kaakkum 48’ scheme, which has significantly reduced accident-related fatalities.

Health Minister Ma. Subramanian, MP Tamizhachi Thangapandian, MLAs, and senior health officials attended the event. The Chief Minister assured the newly appointed doctors that the government would support them in their mission to save lives, urging them to prioritise public welfare above all else.
