Dakshinamurthi Educational Trust, Adyar, under the stewardship of its Managing Trustee Kalaimamani Nirmala Periyaswamy, sponsored and distributed cash prizes and certificates to the students of Arignar Anna Government Higher Secondary School, Urur, Besant Nagar, who excelled in the Tamil Ilakiya Mandram Competitions.
The trust also generously provided new uniforms to all 11th grade students, apart from lunch for the day. The esteemed chief guest, former IAS officer S.Rajarathinam, presided over the event.
Nirmala Periyaswamy’s son, Vignesh Periyaswamy, and her granddaughter, Manasa, actively participated in the event, adding to the day’s enthusiasm. Students staged various cultural programs during the event, adding vibrancy to the occasion. The headmaster and faculty members were present to support the students.
