Rotary Club of Chennai IT City along with Ramana Eye Center, RA Puram, and Raja Annamalaipuram Residents Association (RAPRA) conducted a free eye camp on Nov.5, for Urbaser Sumeet conservancy staff and health department staff of Greater Chennai Corporation, at the eye centre.

The head of the centre Dr.C.Sentilnathan said, “Either due to ignorance or for want of time, most of these workers do not test their eyes periodically. Sometimes they have good vision in one eye and complications in the other.  Some of the eye related problems are irreversible if not addressed in time. The main objective is to screen these workers for presbyopia, cataract, glaucoma, retinopathy and macular degeneration”.
