C.L. Baid Metha College of Pharmacy, Thoraipakkam, celebrated its graduation ceremony on Jan.4 at Vani Mahal, T.Nagar. Owned by the Tamil Nadu Chemists and Druggists Educational Trust, the institution continues its legacy of academic excellence and community service.
The event began with a processional march, Tamil Thai Vaazhthu, and the ceremonial lighting of the lamp, symbolising the pursuit of knowledge. R.Srinivasan – Chairman, welcomed the gathering, while Principal Prof. Dr. C.N.Nalini, presented the annual report, highlighting milestones in academics and research.
Chief guest Padma Shri Dr. Mohan Kameswaran, delivered an inspiring oration, emphasising professional excellence and integrity. Guest of honour Dr. R. Annamalai stressed perseverance and innovation in healthcare. Also present were Trustees, including K.K. Selvan and A. Shankar.
The highlight of the event was the conferral of degrees and academic honours, where Prof. Dr. Grace Rathnam administered the Graduates’ Oath, urging ethical practices.
The ceremony concluded with a vote of thanks by S.A.Ramesh, marking a proud and memorable day for the graduates and the institution.
