Heritage Inspired, the experiential heritage travel company founded by Anand Rajarathinam, has opened its first dedicated space in Kasturba Nagar, Adyar. The new centre aims to be more than just an office — it is envisioned as a cultural hub where curated heritage tours, immersive events, and deep conversations take shape.
Returning from a decade in the U.S., Anand launched Heritage Inspired with a mission to make history accessible. The organisation blends historical storytelling with local cuisine, crafts, and nature-based explorations. Its signature tours include Ottran Paadhai, tracing Vandhiyathevan’s path from Ponniyin Selvan, and trails through Madurai, Hampi, Goa, and more, revealing India’s diverse dynastic and cultural landscapes.
Heritage Inspired also conducts ecological explorations, summer camps, and learning retreats, nurturing awareness of nature, history, and identity. It’s Sangakoodam Academy and Heritage Essentials initiative further promotes Tamil heritage and organic farming.
At its core, the new Adyar space is a call to reconnect with stories, soil, and self. Visitors are welcome to drop by, plan their next trail, or simply share a moment over filter coffee. Heritage, as Anand says, “is not a relic of the past — it is the rhythm of who we are.”
