An act of honesty by Chennai Metropolitan Transport Corporation (MTC) staff recently reunited a passenger with her lost gold chain.
On May 26, a passenger travelling on MTC bus route number 91, from Thiruvanmiyur to Tambaram, accidentally left a gold chain on the bus. The vigilant driver, Rajiv Gandhi, and conductor Balaji, discovered the chain and promptly handed it over to the Branch Manager at the Saidapet depot.
Following due diligence and verification, the gold chain was returned to the rightful passenger on May 28. This incident highlights the integrity and dedication of MTC personnel.
