IIT Madras has introduced five new online courses on Artificial Intelligence (AI) through the SWAYAM Plus platform, aimed at democratising access to AI education. These courses, which range from 25 to 45 hours in duration, are being offered free of cost and are open to students, faculty members, and working professionals from all academic backgrounds.

In line to make AI accessible to all, no prior knowledge of AI or coding is required to enrol. The courses are designed to be hands-on and interdisciplinary, with real-world datasets and case study-based learning. Interested individuals can register at SWAYAM Plus by May 12.
