Inter-collegiate fest at Patrician college

Patrician College of Arts and Science buzzed with energy as students from 27 colleges gathered to immerse themselves in the vibrant celebration of arts, talent, and culture at the Intercollegiate fest, ‘Madras 360’. The event, held on Sept.2, showcased a myriad of talents and activities that left everyone spellbound.

The 8th edition of Madras 360 aimed to celebrate the diverse cultures and traditions of Chennai formerly known as Madras. The fest kicked off with students from various colleges around the city thronging the venue.

The one day inter-collegiate fest featured a plethora of events, ensuring there was something for everyone. All the events centred around the theme of Madras with a wide range of competitions like Madrasi Clicks, Madras Hunt, Shipwreck, and Chennai poets to name a few. The ‘Chennai Hitz’ music competition had participants swaying to melodies. For the intellectually inclined, ‘Content Writing’ offered a wonderful experience with their pens and thoughts.

The valedictory program was graced by Dr.Alfred Jose, Chief Secretary and President of Rotary Club of Agaram, and Aron Raja, Advocate. Stella Maris College bagged the Overall Winner Trophy.

Adyar Times was established in Chennai in the year 1993, founded by Mr.S.P.Ambrose, IAS (Retd.). The concept of a newspaper for the neighbourhood was a novel idea then. The English weekly (Sunday) now boasts a circulation of 42000 copies with an average of 16 pages per issue.
