Jumbo Circus now at YMCA Grounds

Revisit your childhood memories and be introduced to the world of the ever-popular Jumbo Circus, which has set up base at the YMCA Kottivakkam Grounds.

Prepare to be astounded by the acrobatic acts: ladder balance, unicyclist, and roller balance. The skill and professionalism in these routines will be a visual delight for the audience and unique.

Other highlights performed by their artists include Russian Rope Balance, which involves doing gymnastics on a rope strung from the tent’s canopy; Boneless Act, which involves some remarkable body bending acts; Swinging Vertical Gymnastic Acrobat, who performs some graceful acrobatics in midair while hanging on a ribbon cloth; Russian Trampoline Net, where the acrobatic acts are performed on a trampoline, with some remarkable gymnastic acts by clowns on the trampoline. Vertical Angelic fabric Acrobat where the entertainer does gymnastics while hanging from this cloth.

Jumbo Circus’ mobile zoo includes horses and dogs (Pomerian and Dalmation). The Dog Act consists of walking on two legs, holding an umbrella, the group slide act, and the roller act.  Horse riding, in which the leader and his team ride on majestic and sturdy horses. The artists will perform some daring acrobatics on the horse.    

The performances will be held on weekdays at 4.30 pm and 7.30 pm; and on Saturdays and Sundays at 1.30 pm, 4.30 pm, and 7.30 pm. The tickets are priced at Rs.150 and bookings are priced at Rs.450. For details contact 86670 13077,82816 06892,82816 15706.
