Water supply will be disrupted in Adyar, Perungudi and Sholinganallur

The supply of drinking water will be disrupted in 3 zones from April 30, 9 am to May 1, 9 am due to the maintenance work at the Nemmeli Desalination Plant which processes 110 MLD seawater everyday. 

A press statement from the Chennai Metropolitan Water Supply And Sewerage Board has stated that water supply will be suspended in the areas coming under the zones 13, 14 and 15 i.e. Adyar, Perungudi and Sholinganallur.

Areas coming under zone -13 (Adyar) : Indira Nagar, Pallipattu, Kottur Garden, R.K.Mutt Road, Thiruvanmiyur, OHT.

Areas coming under zone -14 (Perungudi) : Kottivakkam, Palavakkam, Pallikaranai, Madipakkam, and Puzhudhivakkam.

Areas coming under zone -15 (Sholinganallur) : Injambakkam, Neelankarai, Akkarai, Ezhil Nagar, Kannagi Nagar, Karapakkam, Vettuvankeni, Thoraipakkam, and Semmencherry.

Residents are requested to store adequate water. They can request mobile water supply via the Dial for Water option on the metro water website https://cmwssb.tn.gov.in/. For further information, call 044-4567 4567.
