The Ministry of Culture, in collaboration with the National Gallery of Modern Art (NGMA), has announced the 7th edition of the Prime Minister’s Mementoes E-Auction. The auction will feature over 1,300 gifts received by Prime Minister Narendra Modi, with bidding open online from Sept.17 to Oct.2, 2025.
Union Minister of Culture and Tourism Gajendra Singh Shekhawat stated that the collection reflects India’s rich cultural diversity, including paintings, sculptures, and various artefacts. A special highlight of this year’s auction is the sports memorabilia gifted by India’s para-athletes from the Paris Paralympics 2024.
As with previous auctions, all proceeds will be directed to the Namami Gange Project, the flagship initiative for the rejuvenation and conservation of the Ganga River. The e-auction offers citizens a unique opportunity to own a piece of history while contributing to a noble cause.
