The Chennaivazh Rettaiyapetti Nadar Association organised a multi-speciality free medical camp, along with Sri Ramachandra Medical College and Hospitals Research Institute (Porur) on Nov.24, at Thiruvanmiyur Nadar Marriage Hall.
Blood pressure checkups, blood sugar monitoring, ECG, ultrasound scan and bone mass density test were done and spot results were given. The participants also availed consultation from the available specialists there. Prescriptions were honoured by the Uravin Murai pharmacist Karthikeyan with his team.
Free spectacles were given to 198 persons, while 31 persons were selected for eye cataract surgery. Breakfast and lunch were also provided for the participants. The president of the Sangam, Thangasamy Nadar, welcomed the gathering. Treasurer S.S.S.Dhanasekar delivered a vote of thanks and Secretary Kulantaisamy honored the doctors and their team. Industrialists Karu Chinnadurai Nadar, Mayillai Sreenivasan, Exnora Babu and Aavin Gopinath, were also present.
