Citizen Consumer Club and Road Safety Club of Patrician College of Arts and Science in association with the Department of Civil Supplies and Consumer Protection hosted a road show on Consumer Protection and Rights on Nov.24.

The rally started from the college towards the Madhya Kailash signal to create awareness among the public on Consumer Protection and Rights. The Valedictory program was held after the rally with notable guests: N.R. Sundar – Deputy Commissioner of Civil Supplies and Consumer Protection Officer, S.Naganathan – Asst Commissioner of Civil Supplies and Consumer Protection Officer and Dr.J.Vijayathilagam – Asst Commissioner (VRS) of Civil Supplies and Consumer Protection Officer, Govt. of Tamilnadu.

Adyar Times was established in Chennai in the year 1993, founded by Mr.S.P.Ambrose, IAS (Retd.). The concept of a newspaper for the neighbourhood was a novel idea then. The English weekly (Sunday) now boasts a circulation of 42000 copies with an average of 16 pages per issue.
