Navaratri celebration at Radiance Mandarin
Share on WhatsappShare on Facebook

During Navarathri, a vibrant and joyous celebration unfolded in the heart of Radiance Mandarin apartment, Thoraipakkam as the residents came together to set up a magnificent Golu display.

The golu theme showcased Bharat Mata’s prowess in space technology. A moon surface was created with used 5 litre cans and white cement poured over it with starry lights around it. A track was also added for the orbiter to go around before landing and there was a launchpad space station as well. A planetarium was created with a display of a rotating solar system. Charts with loads of information provided ample curiosity factor for the kids and hopefully inspiration in the field of space sciences!

The children’s enthusiastic participation and ladies group dance honouring divine feminine was mesmerising.

As the weekend drew near, the spirit of Navaratri reached its peak with a lively Dandiya night held on Sunday. The rhythmic beats of the dandiya sticks, the colourful attire, and the infectious energy in the air made it an unforgettable evening. Laughter and merriment filled the Radiance Mandarin community, as residents, young and old, danced their hearts out, creating memories to cherish.

Navarathri in Radiance Mandarin was a resounding success, fostering a sense of togetherness, and celebrating the rich cultural traditions of the festival. It was a time of good fun, shared experiences, and a reminder of the importance of community in our lives.

Adyar Times was established in Chennai in the year 1993, founded by Mr.S.P.Ambrose, IAS (Retd.). The concept of a newspaper for the neighbourhood was a novel idea then. The English weekly (Sunday) now boasts a circulation of 42000 copies with an average of 16 pages per issue.
