The B.Pharm graduates of the 1973 and 1974 batch of Madras Medical College celebrated 50 years of their graduation on Jan.23 at GRT Temple Bay Mahabalipuram.
The event was attended by 50 participants with their spouses, from India and overseas. “The event was planned for 15 months and a steering committee of five members was formed under the leadership of Mr Kailash to execute the event,” said T.Arunachalam, a member of the steering committee.
As a part of the event, all participants visited Madras Medical College on Jan.22, many of them for the first time after completing B.Pharm. They recalled their college day memories with their friends, whom they met after several decades.
They also honoured their teachers, who have been specially invited to this meet. The event was filled with fun activities and concluded with a resolution to support their alma mater in the best possible ways.
