Students excel each other with scintillating performances

KG and Primary Sports Day of BVM Global at Perungudi was held on Jan.20 at D.B. Jain College, Thoraipakkam. The event witnessed a display of talent, and teamwork with students from Kindergarten to Class 5, showcasing their prowess.

The KG students mesmerised the audience with their Pom-Pom and Flag Drill. The 1st graders exhibited their flexibility through an energetic aerobics performance. The 2nd graders demonstrated their hand-eye coordination in the Ball Drill. The 3rd graders entertained the audience with their skill of carrying the Hoola Hoops. The highlight of the event was the display of 23 games by the 4th graders. The activities ranged from traditional games to innovative and interactive games. The 5th graders added a creative touch with a boys’ pyramid showcasing strength and teamwork and a girls’ yoga performance displaying the benefits of yoga. Parents also participated enthusiastically in the parents’ event specially curated for them.

The chief guest of the day was First Officer Arjun Rajan, a commercial pilot. He was accorded a warm welcome by Principal V.G. Suresh, Vice-Principal Sumathi Ratnam and Head Mistress Sagili Fathima.

Officer Arjun Rajan appreciated the students for their performance and motivated them to reach new heights both in academics and sports. The event ended with the prize distribution ceremony with each student from KG to grade 5 being honoured with a trophy. The winners of each event received a medal and certificate.
