The India Poetry Circle (IPC) hosted a memorable evening of poetry at Odyssey Bookstore in Adyar on Aug.23. The event celebrated Madras Day, bringing together 32 poets of all ages who read works in English and Tamil.

Structured by poet and author S. Sundar Rajan, the event saw impressive performances from seven middle-school and two college students. The young poets, along with the seniors, captivated the audience with their heartfelt tributes to the city.
