India Poetry Circle (IPC), a WhatsApp group for English poets from all walks of life, has around a hundred poets across India, including a few abroad. On Nov. 17, it released an anthology titled ‘Confluence VII – Spring Showers’, published by Authors Press, at Odyssey.

The anthology covers 30 themes (prompts) and 215 poems contributed by 62 poets. Each theme is preceded by appropriate paintings/ pictures by some of the poets in IPC. The notable feature of the anthology is that the poets’ information is also scripted in poetic form. Founder Jairam Sheshadri and Sumitra Kumar formed the editorial team.

The Master of Ceremonies, Sumitra Kumar presented the Vote of Thanks. “Seasons come and go but Spring Showers are ever cherished – a common feeling among all at Odyssey after the event,” said IPC.
