Sri Sankara Global Academy celebrated its annual Sports Day on Jan.20. G.Arvind, was the chief guest of the event, who lit the Olympic torch and declared the Sports day open. His inspiring words set the tone for the day’s festivities.
A short yet captivating cultural program that included drill, karate, yoga, etc., intricately woven with sports themes, showcased the diverse talents of the students.
The atmosphere was filled with laughter and enthusiasm as parents, grandparents, students and staff, engaged in a series of fun games. The joy and pride on the faces of the winners in various sports categories, coupled with the applause from the audience, made the prize distribution ceremony a memorable event, emphasising the importance of sportsmanship. The event concluded with a heartfelt vote of thanks.
