Nehru Yuva Kendra Sangathan under the Union Ministry of Youth Affairs and Sports organised a state-level declamation competition on the topic ‘My Bharat Viksit Bharat@2047’ at Youth Hostel, Adyar, in which the toppers of the district level competitions from Tamilnadu and Puducherry were invited to participate. The contestants were given the option to speak in English, Hindi or Tamil. G.Vaishaly (Virudhunagar district) bagged the 1st prize of one lakh. B.Aravinth (Coimbatore district) won the 2nd prize of Rs.50,000. Two 3rd prizes of Rs.25,000 each went to K.Srinithi (Mayiladuthurai district) and R.Kavyasree (Thiruvannamalai district).
M.Annadurai, Additional Director General, Press Information Bureau Chennai was the chief guest in the closing ceremony and distributed cash awards, certificates and mementoes to the winners.
