R.Selvam, IAS Executive Director, Council for Leather Exports inaugurated the Thiruvanmiyur Book Fair on May 24 at Jayashree Kalyana Mandapam. The book fair will be held till June 9.

Thiruvanmiyur mega book fair is back this year, to be held from May 24 to June 9 from 10 am to 9 pm at Jayashree Kalyana Mandapam, Kalakshetra Road, Thiruvanmiyur. Over 10 lakh books will be up for sale across 5000 topics. Free online drawing competition is also being held for kids. No category, age limit, title or fees. Send the drawings to WhatsApp and get a certificate and gift. Last date of submission: June 6. For drawing competition, WhatsApp to 86681 34540. Adyar Times was established in Chennai in the year 1993, founded by Mr.S.P.Ambrose, IAS (Retd.). The concept of a newspaper for the neighbourhood was a novel idea then. The English weekly (Sunday) now boasts a circulation of 42000 copies with an average of 16 pages per issue.
