The talented skaters and skateboarders of Thoraipakkam have once again made the city proud with their stellar performance at the 34th Tamil Nadu State Roller Skating Championship, organised by the Tamil Nadu Roller Skating Association (TNRSA). The championship witnessed intense competition across roller skate, skateboarding and scooter categories.
The athletes, under the expert guidance of Vijay Dominic from Madras Wheelers Skatepark (Chennai’s first skatepark and India’s second), delivered exceptional performances, securing multiple medals in the Gold, Silver, and Bronze categories. Their dedication and hard work have earned them the honour of representing Tamil Nadu at the 62nd National Championship, organised by the Roller Skating Federation of India.
As skateboarding and roller sports continue to gain popularity in India, this remarkable achievement serves as an inspiration for students across Chennai to explore and excel in these dynamic and exciting disciplines.
