Adyar, OMR and ECR to get Metro Water supply on alternate days

The Desalination Plant at Nemmeli (processing 150 million litres of water per day) will be undergoing maintenance work from May 24 to June 2, for 10 days. During the maintenance, areas coming under Zones 13, 14, and 15 will receive water supply only on alternate days.

The areas which will fall under the restricted water supply:

Zone 13 (Adyar) : Besant Nagar, Kalakshetra Colony, and Thiruvalluvar Nagar.

Zone 15 (Perungudi): Kottivakkam, Perungudi, Palavakkam.

Zone 15 (Sholinganallur) : Neelankarai, Saraswathy Nagar, Okkiyam Thoraipakkam, Injambakkam, Ezhil Nagar, Kannagi Nagar, Uthandi, Panayur, Karappakkam, Sholinganallur, Semmencherry.

Residents are requested to store adequate water. They can request mobile water supply via the Dial for Water option on the metro water website https://cmwssb.tn.gov.in/.
