World Environment Day rally held in Besant Nagar

To mark World Environment Day (June 5), the Reserve Bank Staff Quarters School in Besant Nagar organised a rally and awareness program to promote environmental conservation and sustainable living.

The event saw enthusiastic participation from students, teachers, and local residents. The rally began at the school and concluded at Elliot’s beach, with participants holding placards and banners calling for a pollution-free environment. Along the route, students performed a skit and a street play that highlighted the impact of pollution and the importance of individual responsibility in protecting the environment.
