Daily pujas, led by Shantha and Bhanu, fill the evenings with devotion. A heartwarming aspect of the celebration is the distribution of naivedhyam not only among residents but also to the housekeeping, maintenance, and security staff.

The celebrations also feature lively cultural programs, including group songs and a comedy play. The event underscores the residents’ unity and shared joy during this auspicious festival.

Sri Sankara Matriculation Higher Secondary School, Thiruvalluvar Nagar, Thiruvanmiyur, is celebrating Navaratri with a vibrant ‘Vishwas’ (Faith) themed Golu. The display, meticulously arranged by students and staff, features four sections dedicated to stories of faith from the Ramayana, Mahabharata, and Indian literature, including a special highlight of the Trichy Malaikottai Pillayar Temple. The display has been drawing large crowds of parents and the public, who are also enjoying cultural performances by the students.
Residents of Kottur Swagath Apartment came together to organize a vibrant Navaratri Golu, fully coordinated by Meena Sankar. The display was a beautiful blend of old and new, featuring several dolls more than 50 years old. A special highlight was the collection of coins and currencies from various countries, adding a unique touch to the traditional celebration.

The Sai Darshan Apartment community, Kasturba Nagar, celebrated Navaratri with a memorable kolu event, highlighting the spirit of unity and tradition. Beautifully arranged kolu was complemented by vibrant cultural programs and bhajans involving widespread participation from children, elders and families.
