The Tamilnadu Pollution Control Board (TNPCB), on June 5, announced many awards on the occasion of World Environment Day.
Among the winners from the city was Patrician College of Arts and Science, Adyar,who made the neighbourhood proud. They were among the 92 members who won the award and a cash prize of Rs.1 lakh each.
The awards were presented by Siva V.Meyyanathan – Minister for Environment along with Supriya Sahu – Additional Chief Secretary to the Department of Environment, Forests, and Climate Change, M.Jayanthi – Chairperson (TNPCB) and R. Kannan -Member Secretary (TNPCB).
