“Remember at 70” is a book on the trials and triumphs of the author. Married to a Captain in the army, she shifted to Besant Nagar, her eyes hazy with dreams of new-found love. Her joy was short-lived when she found her in-laws were money greedy and tortured her and her mother for money, while her husband was happily drowning in alcohol. She suffered domestic violence but never complained. She endured pain because she did not want her son to be a victim of a broken family.

Her husband took her to Pune. She later applied to join the Army Medical Corps and donned the Olive green uniform with great pride, at being able to serve society in both capacities. Dr.Premanjali has rightly described the book as the journey from Besant Nagar to Baramulla.
