On June 23, the 279th meeting of the Shakespeare Millennium Club was marked by the release of the book ‘Essential English Grammar for Graduate Level Students’ authored by Dr. G.K. Chithra and Dr. JKS. The event, held at the Cosmopolitan Club, witnessed a distinguished gathering of academicians, dignitaries, and club members.
The book was released by Justice M. Sundar (Judge – Madras High Court), in the presence of members of the Shakespeare Millennium Club, Cosmopolitan Club, and invited guests. In his address, Justice Sundar highlighted the importance of strengthening grammar fundamentals at the graduate level, commending the authors for their contribution to academic literature.
President of the Shakespeare Millennium Club, V. Selvaraj (IAS Retd.), welcomed the gathering and emphasised the Club’s continued commitment to intellectual enrichment through literature-focused events.
The evening also featured interactions with the authors, who shared their motivation behind writing the book and the relevance of grammar in contemporary education.
