Members can now take home books from the Anna Centenary Library, thanks to the newly launched book rental service. Anbil Mahesh Poyyamozhi, Minister for School Education of Tamil Nadu, inaugurated this facility on Mar.11 at the library.

Tamil books and books from the children’s section can be borrowed by the members during the working hours of the library. A representative of the library explained that members are eligible to check out 5 books per card during the day, which need to be returned by the closing hours of the library.
