Budding Gymnasts Shine at Tamil Nadu State Championship

The Tamil Nadu State Championship 2025-2026 for Aerobics and Rhythmic Gymnastics saw a remarkable showcase of young talent on Aug.24. Held at the Hall of Gymnastics, AGB Aquatic Complex in Velachery, the event provided a platform for students from across the state to compete and earn medals and certificates of merit.

Athletes from Chennai Hoopers excelled, securing numerous medals and certificates and highlighting the academy’s role in nurturing gymnastics talent.

The championship was organised by the Tamil Nadu Gymnastics Association, which is affiliated with the Gymnastics Federation of India and recognised by the Sports Development Authority of Tamil Nadu (SDAT). The event was led by the association’s president, C. Muthu, competition director S. Sathish, and treasurer R. Prithviraj.

The championship was celebrated for recognising the efforts of all participants, underscoring a promising future for gymnastics in the state.
