ISKCON Chennai, ECR, is set to host a grand celebration of Gaura Purnima on Mar.14, marking the divine appearance day of Lord Chaitanya Mahaprabhu. The festival will take place from 4 pm to 7.30 pm at the ISKCON temple in Akkarai, ECR.

Gaura Purnima commemorates the birth of Lord Chaitanya Mahaprabhu, who appeared over 500 years ago in Navadvipa, West Bengal, to spread the yuga-dharma—the congregational chanting of the Hare Krishna Mahamantra.
