Iswarya Hospital has launched the Iswarya Breast Centre, a new, state-of-the-art facility dedicated to comprehensive breast health. The centre aims to normalise breast screening as a vital part of women’s annual health routine, focusing on prevention and early diagnosis.

The facility is equipped with advanced 3D Digital Mammography with Tomosynthesis, providing sharper, more detailed scans for faster and more accurate detection of abnormalities,  and personalised evaluations for women with a family history of breast cancer.

Dr. S. Rajasundaram, Director of Oncology at Iswarya Hospital, highlighted the urgent need for such a facility, says, “Early detection of breast cancer dramatically increases survival rates.” Dr. Deepa Chegu, Director of the Breast Centre, emphasised that it is an “all-in-one” centre focused on breast awareness, empowerment, and hope. The centre will offer 3D mammography, consultations for breast lumps, and personalised evaluations for women with a family history of breast cancer.
